![]() ![]() Michael: "I'm not taking anything away from the past records, because I'm so proud of every record we've done so far, and they're all a huge inspiration for the new stuff that we are doing. On saying that "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie" is the "most complete" VOLBEAT album so far: You can go back and say, 'You know what? I did everything I possibly could to make the best thing out of it.' And I really think that we did, because I think it's our strongest record so far." And I look at music as the same thing: you need to be concentrated and dedicated and inspired to write the possible best record that you can do so. It's just like a sportsman he knows what kind of shape he needs to be in to get the right result. I pretty much isolated myself in my house for a half year, to finish up the songs, to be able to write the lyrics and write the music and go to the rehearsal room and show it to the other guys, see what songs needed to be on the record. We do like to work with the head producer, Jacob Hansen we feel very comfortable working with him. Michael: "You know, I would never really call a writing process, a recording process smooth, because there's always a big challenge there's a lot of work, a lot of frustration, a lot of emotions.
